On this job we worked alongside another contractor to carry out this very large and challenging project.
It started with the excavation of over 1000 tons out of the bank to form the new footprint of the extension.
From there a large 4m high concrete retaining wall was constructed, this was damp proofed and formed the rear wall to the extension. Carrying on from there the building became straightforward.
The first floor consisted of a master bedroom, dressing room and en-suite complete with large oak A-frame vaulted roof. The ground floor provided a new annex accommodation with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and vast living area opening out onto a covered seating area.
